Treatment Overview
Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) has been clinically proven to inhibit acne flare-ups. This treatment introduces high concentrations of Vitamin C into the skin where it can be utilised by cells developing beneath. It makes the skin less susceptible to the formation of future spots, as well as encouraging the healing of existing blemishes. The general tone and appearance of the skin also looks fresher and more youthful as Vitamin C encourages new collagen growth. A low percentage of Glycolic Acid is also used to reveal a stratum of new cells and help normalise cellular metabolism.

Recovery Time
This treatment should not be uncomfortable and you can resume your daily activities immediately after treatment.

Typical Course Durations
A course of seven, half-hour sessions are recommended, one per week.

Contra Indications
Eporex treatments should not be carried out if the client is fitted with a pacemaker, has recently had a serious medical condition, is pregnant or breast feeding, or suffers from severe asthma or epilepsy. A full consultation is given before treatment commences.

Risks
There are virtually no risks with this treatment. There have been no serious adverse side effects reported to date. At most, an allergic reaction to one of the ingredients might occur, producing slight redness which will be noticeable within minutes of the treatment, in which case, you will not be able to continue treatment.
