Treatment Objectives

Treatment Overview
This treatment introduces high concentrations of Vitamin C into the skin to fight against cellular damage, inhibiting free radicals which damage the cells' DNA and also encouraging the skin's production of collagen and elastin. Hyaluronic Acid also accelerates the synthesis of collagen and elastin but unfortunately, as we age and due to environmental factors, our skin produces less, leading to a loss of tone. This treatment introduces high concentrations of hyaluronic acid back into the skin to improve collagen and elastin production and aids in the transport of essential nutrients from the bloodstream to living skin cells, hydrating the skin by retaining water and acting as a cushioning and lubricating agent against mechanical and chemical damage.

Recovery Time
This treatment should not be uncomfortable and you can resume your daily activities immediately after treatment.

Typical Course Durations
A course of seven, half-hour sessions are recommended, one per week.

Contra Indications
Eporex treatments should not be carried out if the client is fitted with a pacemaker, has recently had a serious medical condition, is pregnant or breast feeding, or suffers from severe asthma or epilepsy. A full consultation is given prior to your first treatment.

Risks
There are virtually no risks with this treatment. There have been no serious adverse side effects reported to date. At most, an allergic reaction to one of the ingredients might occur, producing slight redness which will be noticeable within minutes of the treatment, in which case, you will not be able to continue treatment.
