Suitability

- Reduce the visible signs of stretch marks and scars
- Reduce scar size
- Normalise skin tissue colour
Treatment Overview
A combination of more than a dozen vitamins, minerals and amino acids, derived from herb & vegetable extracts, are introduced into and below the scar tissue. These non-toxic ingredients already exist in the body and have vital functions. One of the key ingredients is the organic mineral Silica that has the natural function of correcting irregular tissue in the body. Silica helps to correct the damaged scar tissue from within. Other ingredients used include anti-oxidant vitamins that encourage the production of collagen and elastin, the structural components of connective tissue, and a protein that that enhances the metabolic and nutritional processes of the cells. Stretch marks and scars that are still red or pink respond better to the treatment than older, whiter ones.
Recovery Time
This treatment should not be uncomfortable and you can resume your daily activities immediately after treatment.
Typical Course Durations
For newer, pink stretch marks, one to three sessions may be required. For older scars, a course of seven treatments is recommended, one per week, and results should begin to be noticeable within three treatments. It takes this time as the treatment is correcting the scar tissue from the inside out.
Contra Indications
Eporex treatments should not be carried out if the client is fitted with a pacemaker, has recently had a serious medical condition, is pregnant or breast feeding, or suffers from severe asthma or epilepsy. A full consultation is given before treatment commences.
Risks
There are virtually no risks with this treatment. There have been no serious adverse side effects reported to date. At most, an allergic reaction to one of the ingredients might occur, producing slight redness which will be noticeable within minutes of the treatment, in which case, you will not be able to continue treatment.
What is Mesotherapy?
Mesotherapy is a medical technique that traditionally involved injecting a special blend of ingredients into the skin. These ingredients are selected to reverse the physiology of a particular condition.
What is Eporex Mesotherapy?
The Eporex Health & Beauty Station sends a special electrical wave through the ingredients that pushes them painlessly through the skin (technology known as Isophoresis).
Natural, non-toxic mesotherapy ingredients are mixed with a gel that is massaged into the skin. A tingling sensation can often be felt on the treatment area or a pulsing in the hand may be felt, which is earthed on a special pad.
