Eporex Mesotheraphy

How long does a treatment take?

Treatments are typically booked as a course of seven because mesotherapy works from the inside out and it takes time for the cells to turnover.

Body treatment times are typically 30 minutes, and facial treatments may take 30-40 minutes. On your first visit, you should allow an extra 30 minutes for consultation.

How much does it cost?

For all Eporex Mesotherapy treatments, a course of 7 costs £450. Top up and maintenance costs £75.

How do the mesotherapy ingredients work?

Most of the ingredients used exist naturally in the human body, and have specific functions, by adding more, we're simply accelerating certain processes. For example, the visible signs of cellulite are caused by hardened fibrous tissue beneath the skin.

The tissue pulls down on the overlying skin, causing undulations. It also traps fats and fluids from circulating normally, causing discolouration of the skin. One of the key ingredients used with the Eporex cellulite treatments is organic silica, a regenerative mineral.

Silica is found naturally in the body and it's key role is to regenerate irregular tissue. By rejuvenating the tissue causing the visible effects, venous and lymphatic drainage improves and the tissue is corrected.

Other ingredients are combined with silica, each with a specific action such as accelerating the rate at which fat is burnt or improving cellular processes.

Some ingredients used with Eporex mesotherapy, such as Vitamin C, do not exist naturally in the body, but there are enzymes which have similar actions.

How long do the results last?

Because Eporex Mesotherapy treatments work from the inside-out, correcting a specific problem, results are long-lasting. However, patients can have a certain disposition to the condition. For example, cellulite is believed to be caused by oestrogen levels.

The Eporex cellulite treatment combats those visible signs, but because of oestrogen levels, the condition may reappear. Therefore, a maintenance treatment once a month may be necessary to keep the cellulite at bay, after the initial course of treatment is concluded.

How long before I will see results?

With some treatments such as the targeted fat reduction, you may notice a difference within the first week. For other treatments where a rejuvenation of the skin is required, such as cellulite, you may need two or three treatments before the results are noticed but this improvement continues each week.

Under what circumstances will I not be able to have treatments?

Eporex treatments should not be carried out if the client is fitted with a pacemaker, has recently had a serious medical condition, is pregnant or breast feeding, or suffers from severe asthma or epilepsy. A full consultation is given before treatment commences.

Will I feel any pain or discomfort?

Eporex treatments frequently feel like pins and needles in the area being treated, or there can be a pulsing in the hand. Treatments should not be uncomfortable though, and the intensity levels are controlled by your therapist. It is a non-invasive treatment and no injections are required.

Is it safe?

Yes, it is a safe and non-invasive procedure. There are no needles and no bruising. There have been no documented cases of side-effects.

Will I be able to go back to work or take exercise immediately after the treatment?

There are no restrictions after the treatment and you may return to your normal activities immediately.
